This documentary was filmed in the first half of 1979. It includes interviews and statements of all band members, as well as some rare concert footage that was filmed at the North american tour in 1979, probably most of it at the Seattle Coliseum April 10, 1979. Also some rare footage from the "Waters Edge" ballet can be found, as well as the band rehearsing the unreleased track "Apocalypse". The documentary was broadcast in various countries.

This is..... The First 20 Years of Jethro Tull (Cut For TV)

Whilst looking through my old VHS collection, I found this interesting documentary about the first 20 years of Jethro Tull. It was cut down to fit an hour slot on ITV's Night Time schedule.
This was taken from a Mono VHS recording from 1989 (Thanks turkytreat for the correction), and amazingly, 20 years down the line, the same VHS player was used to transfer the original analogue tape to the capture card! They don't make electronics like they used to ;-)

Youtube user "turkytreat" also seems to have recorded the same Night Time slots, and the continuity between the shows that proceeded Jethro Tull can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ym-QGD...

Captured using an Viewcast Osprey 230 capture card and a Ferguson Videostar (can't remember the exact model) VHS recorder. TV channel, Tyne Tees, on the Night Time network. Adverts were cut using Sony Vegas 8, Audio was remastered using Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 12
