1975 : Pete Ham, Welsh singer, songwriter and guitarist, born Peter William Ham, committed suicide by hanging himself in the garage of his Surrey home, at the age of 27, 4 days before his 28th birthday. At the time of his death, his blood alcohol content was estimated to have been 0.27%. (Badfinger - lead singer, composer)
