1995 : Ginger Rogers, American actress, dancer and singer, born Virginia Katherine McMath, died of a heart attack in Rancho Mirage, California, at the age of 83.

1999 : Larry Troutman, American musician, committed suicide by shooting himself after shooting his younger brother, Roger, possibly because of a business dispute, in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 54. (Zapp - co-founding member alongside his brother)

2002 : Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, American rapper, dancer, and singer-songwriter, born Lisa Nicole Lopes, died of neck injuries and severe head trauma in a car accident in La Ceiba, Atlántida, Honduras, at the age of 30. (TLC)
