2003 : Maurice Gibb, English musician, singer, songwriter and producer, born Maurice Ernest Gibb, died of a cardiac arrest at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, at the age of 53. He died while waiting to undergo surgery for a twisted intestine. (The Bee Gees)
