1964 : Cyril Davies, British blues harmonica players and blues musician, died at the age of 31. The official cause of death was given as endocarditis, although leukemia is often quoted. (Blues Incorporated)

1980 : Larry Williams, American rhythm and blues and rock and roll singer, songwriter, producer and pianist, born Lawrence Eugene Williams, was found dead from a gunshot wound to his head in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 44. His death was deemed a suicide, though there was much speculation otherwise.
