2009 : Dave Dee, English singer-songwriter, musician, A&R manager, fundraiser and businessman, born David John Harman, died from prostate cancer in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, at the age of 65. (Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich - lead vocals)

2011 : Bridie Gallagher, Irish singer, born Bridget Gallagher, died in Belfast, Northern Ireland, at the age of 87.

2012 : Ruth Fernández, Puerto Rican pioneering contralto singer and politician, born Ruth Noemí Fernández Cortada, died of a septic shock and pneumonia in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at the age of 92. She had been suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease.
