2007 : Art Todd, one part of the American husband and wife singing duo, Art and Dotty Todd, born Arthur William Todd, died of congestive heart failure in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the age of 93.

2009 : Stephen Gately, Irish pop singer-songwriter, actor, children's writer and dancer, born Stephen Patrick David Gately, died suddely of a pulmonary edema resulting from an undiagnosed heart condition, in Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, at the age of 33. (Boyzone)

2010 : Solomon Burke, American recording artist and vocalist, born James Solomon McDonald, died "of natural causes" after his flight from L.A. landed in Haarlemmermeer, Netherlands, at the age of 70. He had been over 350 pounds (around 160 kilos) at the time of his death.
